Diet Coke with Citrus Zest

About this drink:
New coke! To replace the Diet Coke With Lemon/washing up liquid! Will it be good? Will it be hideous? It's a Diet Coke, so the latter is the assumed. Looks..exactly the same as a regular Diet Coke bottle, albeit with a yellow top and pictures of lemons and limes.

Appearance, aroma, argh?

To the eye: Looks like coke. Would be more accurate if it looked like coke with small devils swimming in it shouting "I'm horrific! I'm horrific!" (I did take a picture of this, but it's yet to upload. Possibly because my website knows subconsciously what it is, and is attempting to reject it outright.)

To the nose: Chlorine mixed with lemon-scented dishwasher powder.

To the mouth: As above.

And a little while after: The taste immediately vanishes. Then the tongue burns like the hottest fires of Hades for no apparent reason (possibly your own tastebuds rebel against you for inflicting this diabolic concoction upon them). Then, curiously, it gives off a taste slightly like shortbread. This is the single most pleasant thing about it.

When it gets warm: Unknown.

Overall:

LIQUID DEATH

Seriously. Diet Lemon was bearable. Diet Cherry was akin to a trip to France. This is the holocaust.
